What is the bright and bubbly variation on the classic Negroni? The Negroni Sbagliato! Sbagliato means “mistake” in Italian - the story about how this cocktail was discovered is that an Italian bartender mistakenly poured Prosecco instead of gin while making a Negroni. We think this Italian aperitivo drink turned out to be a pretty delicious mistake!
WHAT YOU NEED
Prosecco, chilled (we’ve used Bosco Dei Cirmioli Italian Prosecco here!)
Orange peel (for garnish)
Add equal parts Prosecco, Campari and sweet vermouth to an ice-filled glass. Stir gently to combine and garnish with an orange peel.
